Turn shipping into your advantage with global carriers, bulk order tools, and built-in fulfilment features. All inside your Shopify admin.

For many merchants, the hardest work begins after the sale. Fulfilment can make or break a customer relationship, but it is often where operations slow down. Switching between carrier websites, inventory software and third-party apps eats up hours that could be spent growing the business.

Shopify is now making fulfilment simpler. With direct partnerships across the world’s largest carriers, bulk order processing and smarter automation, merchants can manage everything from within their admin. No additional apps. No complicated setup.

"Shipping used to be a necessary evil that pulled focus from running your business," says Vibhor Chhabra, Director of Product at Shopify. "Now you get a unified system that streamlines fulfilment workflows, so you can deliver fast and earn customer loyalty at any stage of growth."

A single place to ship and manage orders

Merchants can now process hundreds of orders at once, buy and print labels in bulk and create pick lists that reduce errors. Shopify also learns from past orders, suggesting packaging and shipping preferences to save even more time.

Global reach is built in too. Exclusive rates with carriers such as DHL, USPS, UPS, FedEx, Canada Post, Purolator, Royal Mail, Australia Post and Flexport mean merchants can access competitive prices from the start. Customs forms, duties and taxes are handled automatically, while Delivered Duty Paid labels from DHL can be purchased without leaving Shopify.

Built-in protection comes as standard, including up to $200 insurance on every label for eligible US merchants, along with address validation, fraud detection and the ability to file claims directly in the admin.

Better experiences for customers

Shipping is no longer just logistics. Every package delivered on time builds loyalty, while tracking updates through email and the Shop app give customers peace of mind and reduce support requests.

“We know that navigating customs clearance, duties and tax compliance fulfilment, in addition to finding a dependable delivery and fulfilment partner, can be complex without expert assistance,” says Katja Busch, Chief Commercial Officer DHL and Head of DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation. “The partnership between DHL and Shopify allows merchants to tap into DHL’s expertise and use our unrivalled network, products and services effortlessly. It’s all geared to enabling merchants to deliver to their customers in a hassle-free manner.”

Returns are just as smooth. Merchants can offer store credit or exchanges instead of refunds, generate return labels in a few clicks, and restock items automatically.

Flexible tools that grow with you

A business starting out from home and one running full-scale warehouse operations can both use the same system. As merchants scale, Shopify integrates with fulfilment partners such as Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfilment, Bigblue, DHL Fulfilment Network, GoBolt and Mayple. All activity is tracked in Shopify, giving merchants visibility of inventory and performance without switching systems.

"We're not just solving today's shipping challenges," Vibhor says. "We're building infrastructure that adapts from day one to every stage of growth."

Shipping made simple

Getting started requires no apps, subscriptions or extra fees. Every merchant now has access to fulfilment tools designed to save time, lower costs and deliver the kind of experience that keeps customers coming back.

In a market where fast shipping is expected, Shopify gives merchants the tools to meet demand and turn fulfilment into a competitive edge.
