The Task

Arran put quality and fragrance first, so you can be sure that each of their Bath, Body & Home products have been expertly crafted and manufactured with the greatest care on their island home of Arran.

Following a lifelong pursuit of perfume perfection known to support physical and emotional wellbeing, with Arran Aromatics connecting with nature has never been easier.

When a product not only looks good but smells incredible, you want the site to complement its every aspect. We were tasked to make the scent of Scotland come alive for each and every visitor to the site.

Arran Aromatics wanted a fresh outlook for their products and branding incorporating updated typography and a new colour palette to start. Additionally, they wanted to make it easier than ever for people to find the perfect product, to match their needs exactly.

Shopify Plus Web Development

To meet the array of ambitious business objectives for the D2C channel, we recommended Shopify Plus, a fully hosted enterprise eCommerce platform designed for high growth merchants and brands. From on-boarding, deployment, through to driving sales growth, our team is experienced at getting results on Shopify Plus.

Part of the process involved developing a bespoke Shopify theme that incorporated the new brand elements whilst driving conversions through a clear focus on the collections, products and offers. The homepage is a great example of this, showcasing various collections as well as unique products and seasonal selections in an arranged manner, with block content drawing the attention of the user.

Supporting the best-in-class frontend user experience are a series of backend features, integrations and apps designed to streamline the administration process for maximum efficiency, taking full advantage of the breadth and depth of the Shopify Plus platform.

Fragrance Finder Web App

When a product is so beautifully crafted, it only makes sense to offer an unmatched customer experience for choosing the perfect scent. We wanted to develop a system from the ground up which showcased the unique products available from Arran Aromatics and to find a way to add a sense of discovery on top of functionality.

Our solution? We created an App, integrated with the Shopify Plus website, that allows users to embark on a journey of self-discovery in fragrances. Building on a users’ personal taste, the Fragrance Finder uses AI to match your perfect scent whilst transporting you virtually to the stunning Isle of Arran, no matter where you are.

The Mucky Puddle team arranged all of this, adding that special memorable layer of indulgence and a personal touch to the purchasing experience.
