The Problem
Husband and wife team David and Elaine Pollock have a passion for art and design with over twenty-five years experience in the industry. Their enthusiasm and knowledge led them to set up The Bay Attic, specialising in custom-made gifts and invitations. They required a low cost retail solution to sell their bespoke products.
The Solution
After consulting their brief, we evaluated The Bay Attics needs and tailor made a unique website package that would suit their budget and specific requirements. Our primary concern was to make a stylish fully functional e-commerce website that would provide a cost effective way for The Bay Attic to promote and sell their merchandise.
The Mucky Puddle technical team looked at the best e-commerce solution for Elaine and Davids budget and built a website with great online security and with a minimal set-up time. The style of the new Bay Attic site was clean and simple and in-keeping with their current business identity.
Throughout the project a number of simple steps were taken to ensure that the long-term costs of maintaining The Bay Attic website were kept to a minimum. By building an organically search engine optimised site, we reduced the need for ongoing search engine costs. With the hosting, domain name and technical support all provided in one easy to understand pack this would save on ongoing maintenance charges. In addition, full one-on-one training was included with both Elaine and David who are now quite at home updating their new site.
